Occupational health and safety for a remote work environment needs to comply with Australian federal, state and local legislation. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure their employees’ homes (aka remote workplaces) are deemed safe.

John has developed both the certification process and the online platform. He will remain responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the project. His objective is to leverage his extensive expertise in quality, health and safety and environmental compliance management to foster safer work environments for personnel who work from home.
ACCREDITATION
Home Shored Services has been certified by an authorised accreditor (ECAAS Pty Ltd) to the standards of ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems). A company with ISO accreditation takes care that its production and service processes run smoothly and pursues consistent improvement on processes already in place.
The scope of certification covers the provision of compliance for Working-from-Home (WFH) and remote work operations with special focus on mitigation control of high-consequence hazards, maintenance and risk management. The services include procurement and specialist trades management undertaking infrastructure maintenance activities and training.
